Is that your photo Will?
You've gone to an art gallery and taken a photo of someone taking a photo of a painting?
 :wall:

There's a sort of perverse amusement in taking photos of idiots taking selfies...

When people call a problem "soft", when in fact the problem is not soft but genuinely incorrectly graded.

Go and spend it on the Aran Islands, off Galway, that'll get your Halloween mojo back.

Can I nominate Wes Brown and Jack Rodwell for their abysmal performance yesterday. Rodwell seems to have forgotten that he doesn't play for Everton anymore ;-)

I think you could put the majority of our team in room 101 based on that performance Graeme! I hope big Sam can work his stuff, but I'm sceptical.

Its one seriously shite bottom part of the EPL - Bournemouth are not in the relegation zone despite having only won 1 in 8...

"Solid wood" laminate dining tables. Cocksuckers!
Does anyone have any advice on how to purchase a dining table made of actual wood that doesn't cost the earth?

Applying a few smears of fake blood to your face and writing C*nt in marker pen on your forehead would probably have the requisite small talk suppressing effect. Though I accept that may not always be a quick and readily applicable solution if you were to, for example, quickly pop to the shop for a pint of semi-skimmed milk and a lottery ticket.

perhaps I could just write that word on the forehead of the potential chit-chatter while they scan my items?

ah, no, they wouldn't be able to see it

Buy the wood you want.
Buy 6 sash clamps (or borrow them from a school; you're a teacher?)
Glue then together.
Sand it.
Oil it.
Stick it on some legs/old table/oil drums
Eat dinner/relentlessly mark exercise books to prove you're doing your job
