For what it is worth I spent four weeks in MW applying this stuff daily to try and keep my skin going and then took a week off driving from there to Font and doing some other stuff on the way.  First day in Font I split four tips including one double split that formed a perfect double chevron.  Couldn't climb for a week  :wall: Fortunately being Font in November it rained non stop and then cleared up when my tips were sorted.  8)

The moral of the story is if you are using anti-hydral make sure you are climbing regularly to wear down the thick layer of dead skin.  If you use it a lot and then stop climbing make sure you sand and moisurise - my skin just got too thick and tough on the surface.

Will dig out the pictures of my tips this evening if I can be arsed.

£10 per tube is a pisstake. When Mark ordered a batch from germany on behalf of everyone on here a few years back I think i ended up with 3 tubes for £11. bearing in mind one tube of this lasted john welford 10 years or something you don't need much. Its not for regular use - all that will acheive is bullet hard tips with no feeling that will split open as soon as you touch a sharp crystal. There is a (perhaps exagerated tale) of sam whittaker using this regularly, getting a papercut and it taking a fortnight to heal up. You should be using antihydral to try and get some more mileage out of your skin on a font trip, or drying up a split so you can sand it away, that type of thing.

you dont want it for £10... dont but it then mate. Only trying to help here you know, as you say 1 tube lasts a long long time.

I'm not having a go, i'm just saying the tubes cos about €5 in germany (about £3), plus a small amount of postage split over the number of tubes you're ordering aught not to add up to £10. But if people are willing to pay £10 for a product they can get hold of themselves for £3 then good luck to you! its a market economy afterall.

It really depends on your skin with this stuff - I've never split a tip from climbing, ever; even doing repetitive traverses on sharp old-school sheffield outdoor walls that would havoc some peoples skin after a few goes.
I can use AH once a week for ages with no problems whatsoever. But if you're the sort of person prone to splits then i'd be *really* careful with it.

This is unfortunate.  A few months ago I came across 5000 tubes of this stuff in a warehouse up my way.  I managed to get away with 2500 of them before the police turned their sniffer dogs my way.  My plan was to sell them at £7.50 a pop, so I hid them away from prying eyes in a safe place.  Unfortunately, the grey bouldering mat I put them in got misplaced somewhere in Wales.
I hear Osama bin Laden has split tips that won't heal  :o

IT'S HERE. :great:

er... might have ordered too much!!! Spread the word.

Right, i have to speak to my mad german friend who has a paypal account to get the details for that form of payment. Otherwise it's a tenner in the post (yes, I know it's a bit dodgy - but for some that might be the only way they can get me the cash) or a cheque.... which will have to clear before postage. Due me having a rather annoying habit of full time employment I cant get to the psot office more than once of twice a week, so delivery could be 5 (paypal and cash) to 12 working days (cheque)

£10 gets you 1 tube, P&P and an info sheet as so not to totally over do it and split your tips. :goodidea:

Oh yeah, most evenings I can meet peeps at the climbingworks, for that personal touch.

Once I've got half a ton of jiffy bags in I'll be starting to offer shipment start of next week.

To save turning bubba's ad free forum into a skin product supermarket please PM me for more details.

dont forget, I have tons of this stuff, tell your mates, your mum, your dog whoever!!

I am mainly interested in the thickening / hardening enhancing effects...  I suspect the glans involved have been destroyed by my lab-work

Just what kind of labwork do you , er, do, Moose?

:great: OK, got the cream, done the information sheets, got a website that takes all the payment options I could think of  :great:

www.econix.co.uk

look under medicines and off you go. the info sheet is also on the site.

price is £10 as promised, but as I priced it all up forgetting VAT I'll be reviewing this at the end of August / when my stocks run out!

Nice on - that's Nick's site right?

But you don't want to price yourself out of the market man - who's going to pay £12.93 when you can get it for half that elsewhere?

No i meant the price *after* the tenner introductory price :)

I think a tenner if fine tbh - a lot of folks can't be bothered with the hassle of deciphering a german website and waiting a week to get the stuff....

yeah,

you're probably right i admitt. I'll have a chat to the bloke actually getting it in (i'm just doing the postage bit!!). at the end of the day I just want this stuff freely and easily available - lets face it, it's not ever gonna be a big earner... but i reckon there a lot of peeps out there that could more climbing done if they use it sensibly.

Just placed an order  :great:

did it through the fatdoc empire as my german skills are lacking (and it wouldnt have been that much cheaper anyway).

Does anyone have any knowledge on how this stuiff works when dealing with razor sharp crimps (non - grit)?

ill report back on my experience with the stuff!

cheers fatdoc!

your climbers information sheet (enclosed witht the cream) will suggest to you how to use antihydral... if you have divots / splits then get filling those pads smooth prior to using the cream, your skin base really needs to be uniform in depth before applying!
