I've met Glenn Plake (ex bad boy extreme skier) twice; once in Mammoth CA, once in Chamonix. Both times his trademark Mohawk hair wasn't gelled up.

When I wrote "glass of vino", I should have written "Bottle of.."

I humbly apologise for such an egotistical, braggardly, post (who could have seen that coming? [emoji848]).

Got kissed/mauled by Roisin Murphy before she joined Moloko after getting leathered on her Dad's homemade Poitin.

One of my girlfriends at school was Esther Hall the actress and most well known as Jane off the BT family adverts that ran forever.

She was in Silent Witness recently.

I drank a whole bottle of whisky at a festival once and when ex Wonder Stuff singer Miles Hunt came on stage he was introduced as 'the Sid Vicious of folk'. I repeatedly shouted 'size of a cow' in between every song. He wasn't impressed...

Was at a party in Hozier's parents gaff just before he really took off. Think I left my shitty old sleeping bag in their front room. Was only there as a peripheral hanger on, my girlfriend sang backing vocals for him on his first american tour.

A guy I know was Prince's guitar tech for about 6 months. He got hired when prince fired his whole tour crew after a gig in Dublin. He lost the job because he couldn't get to Sydney from Dublin on 2 days notice....

No mohawk no tick.

I think he only bothers when he's making appearances. Either that or he's actually going bald and there's a gap in it now.

In 2007 my then-bandmate bumped into Ghostface Killah in Londis (not as random as it sounds- he was playing a gig in Nottingham that night) my man got the Wu-Tang star to record a shoutout for our band on his dictaphone which, after I'd edited the n-word out, we proudly used on our demo CD. No-one believed it was really Ghostface.

My favourite so far.

I shook Method Man's hand after I saw the mighty Wu live a few years ago.

I met the GZA once because my girlfriend of the time was doing PR for his tour (the gig I saw in London was awful, I remembered more of his lyrics than he did, but I was considerably less high).

Since the GZA is my all-time hip-hop hero I was only able to say 'hello GZA Mr Genius' a bit like Perry from Harry Enfield and came over all bashful rather than proving myself to be a legend and being invited to be an honorary member of the Wu.

My girlfriend and her PR mates subsequently got to hang out with him quite a bit and play pool etc. Apparently he was crap and claimed he would beat them all at chess...

Right then, between everyone of the forum we need to get ticks for the rest of the clan. Speak now if you've ever met any of the following: RZA, ODB, U-god, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna or Masta Killer.

Half points for affiliates like DJ Mathematics, Redman or Killah Priest.

I've ended up having Ian Ayre (Liverpool FC Chief Exec.) as company at the bar on two late night occassions recently. I bought him a glass of my whisky which went down very well. Tenuous, sorry.

I have a few, I got drunk with Lemmy - very topical but also true.
I held liv Tyler in my arms when she was a toddler.
There's more but that'll do for now.

Brief conversation with Jarvis Cocker in the old greasy cafe that was in Sheffield train station... nice bloke

I am the great great great great Grandson of Henry Cort. The inventor of,  and poorly patented,  puddling of iron purification process. Big business was not his forte, he lost it all. Thus, I am not the CEO of an international steel fabrication business.

arse.
