I couldnt get the 1080p version onto an ipad 3 despite them supposedly supporting that resolution. Anyone any idea why?

I bought the 1080 version and it is awesome  :great:

However, it will not transfer onto an external HD because of its size (stupid FAT32) but I need to move it off my laptop as it is crap and has no space. Is there any chance I could swap it for the slighter lower quality version please, so I can actually keep a copy to watch again?  :sorry:

Sounds like what you need is a portable format specifically designed for motion pictures that can be played almost anywhere.

720p still weighs in at 2.1Gb (or 2254577200bytes) so it probably won't copy to FAT32 either.

I was under the impression that the limit on FAT32 was 4GB

Hmm, I could be confusing myself with the 2Gb contiguous RAM allocation under older M$-Win.

This table suggests its mostly a ~2Gb limit.

I'm probably wrong though as I only ever use FAT32 for small (upto 8Gb) USB and SD-cards.  Likely something useful here but I can't be arsed reading it.

Sorry everyone. It all took far longer than anticipated. We were waiting for the music licenses to be sent to the DVD printers and this seemed to go on and on. We think it's sorted now and they should be ready in 2 weeks. Apologies to everyone that has been waiting and to those that have pre-ordered.

Patience is allegedly a virtue!  ;-). I can't wait, perfect timing to be ordered the week we come back from Font.  Hooray!  And nick, well done for letting us know, can you let us know when the DVD only is listed in your shop?

+1. Is there going to be an option of a DVD only? I have no real interest in downloading so would prefer not to pay for it if possible.
