1080 now up for download for those who have been waiting like me.....

arse

I didn't realise this was coming

I'll wonder if they'll let me swap...

Um...ditto.  Film is awesome but it would be nice to have it in 1080p if poss  :goodidea:

Especially loved the intro on Careless Torque.

Yeh, thirded. Would be great if we could download the larger file as well to appreciate a great film in all its glory.

Had the same issue - download 7zip (google it)...takes a few secs, then extract the film using it...voila!

Didn't you see the options when you ordered?

It was pretty clear to me what the options were and I was happy with 720, since I didn't have to wait and my netbook can handle 720 better than 1080.

where's the cheapskate emoticon  :P

same price innit

no, I didn't see a 1080 option - just the download and the DVD options

I may have been trying to multitaskTM at the time...

Hi

Don't think the 1080 version was available for those keen enough to buy it in the morning. Quick email to Nick at outcrop films (outcropfilms@gmail.com) sorted it out for us. Nice work Nick - and great customer service!

yep

he emailed me a new link for my 1080 version

getting 1.2MB/sec too, which is 8 times faster than when I got my 720 version

quality service on a bank holiday - mind you it is shit weather for climbing

nice one Nick

Leave that to the ladies. Stick with the one track stuff.

Watched this film yesterday.

Loved it.

Beautifully shot - for me the timelapse shots etc raised it above the normal level of climbing films.

Really liked the soundtrack too.

And the subject matter - scarily hard, scarily high bouldering - was great.

No fluff, just cranking. I'm psyched to go out and climb!  :great:

Hi, as far as i'm aware  the bit-rate on the 720p version is still too high for the ipod touch, as the ipod needs to down res the video to be able to play it it simply cant handle the file size. As for ipad's im not sure, i think it would also depend on if it was an ipad 1, 2 or 3?!?!
Im not flush enough to own one so i cant really help, anyone who has one and has also put the film on can you help?

Ill look at putting a problem list together aswell.

Just watched this. I love the (almost) total lack of spray or context, very refreshing for a modern bouldering film. Pretty different from the endless procession of Chuck Gashburger in the hood type flicks, and for that alone it gets a solid thumbs up from me.
I maybe think they could've gotten rid of the little bits of interview footage altogether.
Some of the footage is lovely, though I agree a few wider shots/ better angles would've been good too. Love the timelapse stuff, love the music.

All in all, well done, its brilliant.
