I've taken some from Pleasley Vale this week. Loads more to do though- the first buttress has mental amounts that have appeared in the last week.

I took an estimated 40-50 full bags of rubbish from Black Rocks between April last year and may this year too. :ang:

That might beat me and Moff. We've done a lot more at Woodhouse Scar but over quite a few years now so probably can't quite beat that as an annual individual rate. We always clear rubbish... those charity clothing bags are so useful and sit in our car and we have been through hundreds. I'd advise gardening gloves to be part of a standard crag cleaning kit (in the bottom of the rucksack) if any glass is around (or worse... watch out for needles on urban crags) We have also cleared some serious volumes of rubbish from Black Rocks, Pleasley and Shipley Glen amongst numerous other venues over the years.

Did Raven Tor end to end this arvo as a distraction from the heat.. Just one carrier bag mainly tape and broken laces plus a few bottle tops and a couple of tab ends. Quite a heartening 20 minutes to find so little rubbish really.

Five bags of rubbish I collected from the area we camped in Barrah Canyon in Wadi Rum (South Jordan) last week (the abseil tat we cut off of Merlins Wand/Supercrack ourselves and added to the collection). Thankfully we weren't walking back to the town but were picked up by jeep...

Really quite depressing how much rubbish there was in the canyon and desert in general as its such a beautiful place. :(

At Gardoms last week, picked up a couple of plastic bags, bit of carpet, towel and a lapis brush under Marks Roof - clearly climbers :wall:

Red bull can from under half state at Neath Abbey last week, seems unlikely any non climbers would be there? Pristine otherwise though

On a complete side note.
Sitting here, bed bound, cold and watching the drizzle outside.

I hate you.

You lucky, lucky bar steward.

Sorry.

One bin bag Frodsham, lunchtime. More monument than crag, pop, booze, crisps.

once, my ex girlfriend asked a car full of 5 not to park in the disabled space at curbar. They continued to verbally abuse her to the point I had to threaten them... so they walked off up the hill

Later that day on the way out, we found they had left McDonalds for 5 in the mini cave near Walk on By.... absolute fuckers. How can anyone want to visit Curbar for lunch then do that?

It took almost a big bag to clear it up!

Don't even get me started on climbers & fag butts though :( :(

This is a great thread & has reminded me to always take a plastic bag out

13 Dog ends from Tintagel yesterday morning. :-( Def climbers, and given the tidal nature of the place, def recent. Pisses me off how some smokers don't seem to consider dog ends litter, just carry a tin! Fucking disgusting picking them up, especially as I didn't have a bag so had to wrap them in the tape from my wrist after I was done climbing.

I picked up a lot of glass at the tor left it all on the rock you can sit on by the cave as i forgot about it when i left haha. Half a job! Better than having it left all in the gravel. Not all of it was rounded either. Some of it was sharp! Use a rope bag at the tor guys!

true wanker behavior that.

Picked up a carrier bag load of litter from around Higgar last weekend. Some kind soul/s had had a nice Sainsbury picnic then left the 'bag for life' and all the packaging at the side of the path in the bracken.
