Pain in side of hand
December 18, 2007, 09:35:48 pm
Hi,
I'm getting annoying aching pains down the little finger side of both of my hands, between the knuckle and the wrist. These seem to get worse when I climb (I don't climb hard, about 6b/c), but I also do a lot of typing in my shitty job.  I don't seem to have suffered any significant strength/grip loss but it's very uncomfortable sometimes. Wondering if anyone else has had problems with this sort of symptom? It could be RSI (ulnar nerve, perhaps?) but I haven't been to a physio or anything. Any remedies/advice/consolation?

Cheers

Start using a powerball immediately.  They're under a tenner on amazon.  No more than 6000 revs or so.

My hand injury advice is the same as always.
Sorry to hear about the poor job though.
Take Houdininini's advice with a pinch of salt:  all the drugs port has addled his mind.

a)  Take off spiky cockring
b)  stop the ten knuckle shuffling :wank:

A sore hand like that is a clear admission!   :guilty:

Houdini.
I bought a power ball due to the peer pressure from a recent posting. I can start the fucker but I just can't keep it going. I had it delivered to work and my office girls are in stitches at my feeble attempts to make it work. Kelly, who claims (despite being plump) to gives the best hand job in Britain, thinks I've got good hand action.

Yours

Hand waiting (so to speak)

So can Fat Kelly get over 13k on PowerBalls?

Kelly sounds like a spunky lass with a sparkling personality.

Stoat - You must crack the 'wide wisk'; slowly now.

...and my personal best is gently nudging 4,000 revolutions per minute.

This is hard, much harder than maintaining it @ 7-9K which requires less control.  I've found extended sessions where the object is to keep the gyro moving (no more) to be most relaxing; like gentle stretching.  Balling may not work for you, but @ slow revs it's unlikely to do you harm.
