Was your mouth out you filthy peak scum

Shan't!

I was there on Sunday "bouldering" well did about 3 warm-up problems and then sulked for a couple of hours. Instead of the elusive "sticky damp" it was more of a "slimey dry" i.e. looked okay but I had to chalk every hand movement and for once it wasn't me sweating like a hog in heat.

BTW, I have no bias for the Peak - Yorkshire has better bouldering, and if I'd gone to the Plantation, I'd have been just as grumpy!

Unlucky lad! I heard you'd been doing well! I guess watching Sugden and Parry thug it out in the Super final might have made up for it?

Good effort Tom by the way

I left just before 9 so I missed the superfinal, double bugger. Sounds Like Tom won, which isn't a surprise given how well he's going at the minute.
Hopefully that was my crap performance out of my system and I can get back to climbing with a modicum of style, panache and flair. Or not as the case may be...

I went to the MCC comp and didn't climb particularly well, but I'm not that bothered (I was the guy sat upstairs with Ste when you came in BTW).  Gaz won the footless comp at the end, but it was close and they put on a good show.

I've had my first campus board session this week, which went ok, but the rungs aren't very smooth at the edge and has bitten a chunk out of my finger, hopefully it'll heal before the weekend.

i wouldn't go on that board again squeek. your fingers will feel better for it. get it sanded down if it's at your local n you're in with the in-crowd. nothing worse than what would be a decent board if it weren't for leaving half a finger behind every session. don't think that putting tape on will make a difference either. i don't go on the small rungs at broughton for the same reason. obviously i'm not in with the in-crowd

Was he red-faced and wild-eyed from some crazy drug cocktail as usual? Did he do any running from customs officials?

You are the second person today that has asked me that.
A tup is a Ram, Texel is a breed with a head like a Bull terrier!

At another potential venue I had a real Blair Witch project experince as I sneeked around the woods, I could hear some one else "following" me.
As it was private land I left, but felt as if I was being watched all the time.

As I drove off there was a man and dog watching me from the top of nthe crag!

Also I went to check out a potential crag X http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=420725&y=462495&z=3&sv=420500,462500&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf

What a waste of time that was!

Welcome to my world!

I'm not surprised that a sheep with big balls appeared on goole's image search...

I've just spent three days in Reading as I do every week. Went to the Westway Climbing Wall (Shepherd's Bush) on Tue, which was underwhelming and expensive.

Back in the Peak now though, looking forward to the weekend...might get out this lunchtime somewhere for an hour or so.

Tesla- glad to see your still cranking!  I went to the Devils Gorge near Ruddlan last week - very enjoyable.  Its like a cross between Crag X and  Parisellas but not quite as large.  10 problems and a couple of sick looking problems.  Combined with the neighbouring 'Gop', this makes for a grand day out. Class V7's.
