I like Pooch's, Mina's and Julia's shots the best (the scale looks well weird in the Pooch shot, as does seeing her with unusually long shorts on). Not a fan of Shauna's shot, I think her other publicity shots are much nicer

Just bought one to post to a friend in Belgium as he doesn't know nine other people who want to buy them.

Surely CAC are missing a trick by not offering world-wide distribution* for single items as the postage cost is covered by the buyer?

* Europe is a minimum of 10, world-wide 20 for postal delivery.

Well, I am not fucking buying one.  This is because one of the RULES (*) is to only have one calendar, and I'm buying one of these.

http://www.roundaboutsofbritain.com/go-to-shop-2/product-category/fast-disappearing-red-telephone-boxes-of-wales-2014-calendar/

(As seen here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-25013411)

Quote
The "Fast Disappearing Red Telephone Boxes of Wales 2014" has been branded "naff, nerdy and boring" by its publisher Kevin Beresford.

Mr Beresford, 61, was responsible for unlikely seasonal hit Roundabouts of Great Britain 2012 - and was hoping to repeat his success.

It features phone boxes in areas including Monmouth and Llanberis in Gwynedd

However, I'm really struggling to find out how to buy it.  For fuck's sake, this is a genius idea but the business execution has something of business mouse about it! Can anyone help?

(*) other rules include complex equations about which urinal to visit in a bank of five (the extension of this theorem to a bank of N, N > 5 is an NP-hard problem), always wiping with your right hand, and not matching holds

Theres a stall in the Shopping Centre in Kendal (don't know what its called - you know the funny little one in between streets) that is replete with the finest of crap calendars. Goats of 2011 was my favourite.. Its now part of my Xmas visit to the folks in Kendal to equip myself with the most distasteful one around.

Someone at work had a Cliff Richard one last year where they appear to have photoshopped his royal Cliffness' face to a chippendale (etc..) calendar. It was quite disconcerting talking to him when it was on the wall behind his head in his office...

It would cost about £44 to post a single calendar to the US.

Slackers - maybe hold fire on posting it to Belgium, it will cost a lot. We have sorted out a distributor for Holland, Belgium and Germany.

Problem is John is doing everything himself, folding, bagging and addressing T's. Dealing with the Calendars. So he hasn't had time to post details of where the Calendars can be picked up from eg in France there is a national lead comp in December and 200 have been sent there. Sweden has had a pallet sent. Holland has had 2 pallets sent (John blagged some free deliveries from a haulage firm!).

In the UK various walls will hold stock so people can pick them up from The Works, The Foundry, The Hanger, Ratho plus more places to come. Buying this way saves CAC P&P, Paypal fees and of course it means you don't have to go to your local sorting office to pick it up when you inevitably aren't in when the post comes - I guarantee it won't fit your letter box

How come? Because of the shape or because it's a commercial thing? Only cost me $10 to get a pair of kneepads sent from the US, but that was sent via a friend rather than sent by the shop (who didn't do overseas shipping).

Because of the size, it's fucking massive!

Oh yeah I forgot to add that whilst John is doing all of this he is also undergoing pretty intensive chemo and other stuff which takes up at least 1 day a week and leaves him wasted for days afterwards. he hides it well though

We'll be taking some at the Bunker.

Graeme, you can tell John, Polly hasn't got back to him because my Fathers grafts didn't take.

Possibly preaching to the choir, I know. But cancer sucks.

Currently facing the fact that my Father has just lost half his lower jaw (think about that for a moment), because the chunk of Tibia the hacked out of his left leg to replace it didn't take. The original bone was eaten away by Squamous cell carcinoma (the same thing that killed my wife (as many of you know)).

I've avoided CAC for sometime.

Because I really couldn't think about cancer, at all, without getting jaw grindingly angry.

Too late I bought one last night and as I have no use for it myself, Google Calendar meets all my needs, I will be posting it on.

Folks who dont like the format, the pictures, the justification within feminist theory or whatever can buy other stuff here: http://www.shop.climbersagainstcancer.org/
or even just donate using the old fashioned gift aid.

Ah yes, the classic full-stop of posters remorse, signifying a hastily edited post that they hope nobody read.

Was about to post about a certain edited post above. Thought id be the bigger person though and leave it. Even though said person is normally the first to point out reposts.  :P

The hasty covering of tracks makes my post make little sense either, unfortunately I didn't get chance to edit.

Someone at work had a Cliff Richard one last year

That someone might regret that this year. (Superinjunction, D-Notice, Elm House, Yewtree)
