Mastodon's hearts alive always reminds me of the music in the Diablo II computer game! Blood and Thunder is the best track on Leviathan without a shadow of a doubt. Great band.

Well I've been listening to this recently, from the EP 'Fixed'

Takes about 3 mins to really get going.

:punk: I love NIN seen them twice.
You don't really get a pit for nails but he played hurt the flights went dark and then this hit followed by starfuckers and march of the pigs.
Awesome pit great fun

Also one of the best surprises I had at gig was when I arrived to watch tool to find out mastodon were supporting. Awesome I had been on there headline tour a couple of months before bit of a difference between manc acadamy 3 and evening news arena :)
They were better at the smaller venue I fought.

been getting back into converge lately. The saddest day is an awesome track.

This is why I am loving Origin at the moment and have ordered another CD of theirs:

Nice one Grubes. Saw them once, he played Somewhat Damaged, Terrible Lie, Heresy and March of the Pigs without pausing as an opener.  :devil-smiley:

Clutch = Cool

Love a bit of Fu Manchu... If you like them, there's a strong chance you'd like these too..

I think you'll find some Kyuss and Monster Magnet in the first few pages, but more is always welcome!

Been listening to Morbid Angel's latest offering, took a little to get into but I now think it's a return to form, probably helped by the return of Dave.

Morbid Angel! Cancer Bats! It's all getting a little bit :punk: dark for me.

Hows about something a little less 'black leather and studs' like say... errrrrrrrr Helmet!!   :boxing:

In a similar vein to Fu Manchu, Kyuss a bit of Karma to burn

I've been listening to Hatred for Mankind by Dragged Into Sunlight and it's proper mental.  Horrible, unpleasant, uncomfortable and downright noisy. Not everyones cup of tea....

Nice. I do like the wall of noise production on it.

On a similar but lighter vein have you tried Origin (linked above) or Behemoth??

Just bought Napalm Death's last album (Time Waits For No Slave), and IMHO it's their best for some time  :punk:
