Sagging? Stupid, indeed.

I'd like to vote for Umbrellas too. Some canute walking behind me up royal park road had his expertly poised so ALL the drips landed on my head.  :wank:

If we got rid of rain you wouldn't need umbrellas would we?

And on the subject of umbrellas what about all those naff lyrics going on these days, no doubt associated with sagging, that repeat syllables like umbrella/ella/ellas?  Fucking rubbish imho!

And if we're talking Nortons then it has to be Rocket Ron Haslam's fire breathing early 90's rotory mental machine - 150 bhp from 600cc and a 10 rpm powerband, lunacy!

why grow your hair if you are gonna tie it up all the time.

It saves money not having to get your hair cut every 4-6 weeks.

(From someone who has long hair, ties it up all the time,  who's girlfriend is an ex-hairdresser, and therefore has no excuses!).

 I have long hair, but I don't wear make-up, or high-heels.  Its actually pretty hard getting my hair trimmed though as my girlfriend hates cutting hair these days.

do you have any tatts slack ?

Yep, two, but they're not celtic  :P.

Anyway, back on topic, I'd like to nominate bus-drivers, the majority of whom seem to be completely unaware of cyclists.

You've redeemed yourself Norton, by saying the magic words:  Rocket Ron.   Though I feel that this era is subservient to the Surtees/Hailwood years.

Personally, I'm a ROTON man.  Also Andy Hyslops' tearing up of the TT must be mentioned.   They are wonderful unique machines even w/out engine braking.

But this is all OFF TOPIC and there is no way any pre- or post- JPS Norton would ever cross ROOM 101's threashold.

Oh, and without rain Britain would be a desert.  We can't have that.

Using exclamation marks where they are not needed.
That's you again, Liz ! !
Ur'ine room 101 twice!

I am starting to wonder whether such exclamation marks are supposed to indicate an instance of rising inflection. In which case they should be in 101, deffo!

That Australian rising inflection needs to go in as a seperate entry?! Every sentence sounding like a question?! It's really fucking annoying?!

That Australian rising inflection

I know it's usually attributed to our antipodean cousins, but I am uneasy with labling this as "Australian" because many of them don't speak in this annoying way. Can we call it the Acquired Pseudo Australian Rising Inflection, or APARI, from now on?

And then can we put something about jargon and acronyms in, eh?!

To be fair I don't mind Aussie doing it, but bloody students should stop it?! Just because you all come from all corners of Britain does not mean you have to lose your accent and talk with rising intonation to be understood by fellow dudes?!

Nail on head.

So, students who do this are in 101.

Good description. 8a.nu is awful.

I called the annoying intonation "Australian" as that is a common definition of it. I've nothing against the way Australians speak. Generally.

8a.nu could redeem itself by using a histogram with penis shaped columns to summarise its r(w)anking data?!

Could 8a.nu redeem itself?  Only if they sent me money.  I can't believe . . .   Ah, fuck it.

Those people who systematically refuse to get a beer in ever unless shamed into it for no other reason than they are tight fisted scrotes! These are the sort of people who have developed a method of never ever getting to through the door of a pub first and if by some terrible twist of fate they do then they proceed to faff around ad infinitum until the danger that they might just have to get a beer in has passed.

Other than that Coldplay and all the other associated tossers that lurk in that same sort of "edgy" music genre that people who know jack shit about music listen to because it is so difficult\angsty\real\whatever.

Lastly - the bloke who keeps phoning me at work on the hour every hour tonight about a complete non-problem and insisting I escalate it to god or some other deity who probably give even less of a toss than I do.

Insurance companies. It's just a licenced scam and yet they make it seem like they're doing everyone a favour when they actually have to provide the service which they're charging people (far too much) for while simultaneously attempting to squirm out of providing said service. Cunts one and all.

The collected works of Hugh Grant

Disagree. Some stuff he's done is actually ok and he'll always have kudos for the Sunset Strip incident because it was so funny.

However, Love Actually made me want to vomit. By all means put that in. Please.
