Or is it going to be like magne traction edges and reverse camber snowboards. Bandwagon idea for a while until some people decide they prefer things the way they were and revert to original concept. Still too early to tell

Totley mini pump track...

Go out of town... Turn left just before leaving sheff, after the gastro pub... Straight on 150m, in field on left. It's great!!

Nice vids FD.

I've just been a bit like this watching this one  :o :o

Matt Page's footage from Iron Bike (a somewhat mental 8 day stage race in Italy)

What the vid doesn't really show until the end is that Matt rode the whole race on a Pivot Les 29er hardtail - including the Fort.

Not really MTB (at all) but...

Read up on the back story too. Martyn Ashton has been a proper trials ledge since I was a kid. Hero.

10 things every mountain biker should have done.

I only get 6/10, maybe 7.

When they mean cross a mountain range, they mean something like the alps or pyranees, not the pennines  :P

I think using uplift at PdS doesn't count either!

Cairngorms? Not done it, but planning it.

Would the Passporte count for that or is using lifts cheating

I'm 8 out of 10, riding to the sea and crossing a mountain range.

Doesn't count IMO, neither does shitty little UK mountain ranges like the Cairngorms

7/10
Never built a bike frame up from new but have stripped back to frame and built back up.  Does that count?
Never slept in the same room as my bike (not that I remember but there’s a few things or people I can’t remember sleeping with)
Never raced cos’ it's not why I ride my bike.

FBSF - Glad to hear the fingers are fixed / fixing, let's do some riding then?

I took the "sleep next to bike" as sleeping out somewhere, not in the same room. I've cycled in to bivvy to do climbing routes, but there's usually a long walk after bikes are abandoned.

There's a "making of" programme about Imaginate on Dave channel at the moment, worth watching, hopefully be repeated as I don't think the have online repeats.

heres a vid from antur stiniog on sunday. an awesome winter uplift as it rides really well even in the wet. first run is the black, which was pretty hard and a trek remedy, i feel second time down. the second with my mate following is the blue run, really flowy and good fun but the wind slowed it down a bit.
