Did it for you.  As  2nd in Command you are entitled to fan my magnificence, and go to the bar.  I'll have a port (bottle of)  8)

Just got a 4838 on 30 second strength. Typing left handed as my right forearm is like a big ham.

Well Akis has 16, 553 . . .

So either that's duff/bull/photoshop/clocked, or you've just crushed the worlds' greatest powerball obsessive by some distance.

Which could it be?   :-\

The people at PB HQ have a machine to analyse the frequency of the sound from video.  If you are seriously claiming that, if it's your ball,  ::)  You should have it checked out.  Obviously the ball or counter is crudfuck but give it a go.  If it's the  same ball that you got the 13K score on we may have to scrub you from #2 as it's clear that score is jive talk.

But I'm not the guy to ask . . .

You should question our very own disgraced former world number two, Scouse Dave  ;D

Shortyx, you're off the league till you find a new ball/or buy a new counter.  Sorry pal. Dave is reinstated @ #2.  (Mines a vintage port, pint of  8))

Nice one Jenn.  Your crushing of Dense is inspirational.

You could start yourself on a nandrolone AKA mandrolone and human growth hormone (recovered from cadavers and illegally aborted foetuses) program.  Give up your job and hit the gym bigtime.

:-\ That might make me taller too, although if I'm giving up work can I not just climb more and get strong that way?

My PB, I am sure, is entirely down to beasting myself on hard ice routes for 10 days.  Who'd have thought it?  Climb more, climb hard and you'll get stronger, who knew

Cheers  :)

I'm giving my Powerball a rest for a bit as I seem to have developed sore elbows, not too sure if it is referred pain from my bad shoulders or caused by excessive Powerballing.

Probably the latter.  I get a bit of an ache where the forearm muscles attach at the elbow.  Mostly from A/Cwise use.

Oh!  I've remembered something I wanted to ask the masters!  I can go about twice as fast anti-clockwise as I can clockwise, why?  Everyone else seems to be faster going clockwise?  Am I just odd?

We need to be careful with this clockwise/anticlockwise thing, as it changes depending which hand you hold the ball in and which way you look at the ball/hand.

I would suggest we use external rotation and internal rotation, to eliminate confusion.

I can go about 1000rpm faster with ER compared to IR.  You need to train the action as it feels odd at first.

Well clockwise is clockwise, anti-clockwise is anti-clockwise irrespective of which hand your holding it in.  Perspective (i.e. looking from above v's looking from below) alters it, but it still doesn't change with hand (i.e. clockwise from above is still clockwise irrespective of hand, but clockwise is reversed to anti-clockwise when viewed from below).

I would suggest we use external rotation and internal rotation, to eliminate confusion.

That however does alter depending on which hand and is a far more logical way of describing it

Just realised we have a powerball smileys at our disposal....  :wank:

:P

You beat me to it Slackers.  Busy in PhotoShop.

Note how ER uses the same muscle action in both hands/wrists whereas anticlockwise changes.

Are you trying to out-nerd me? Is this going to end in a geek-off?

No, just trying to make sure we all know what everyone else is talking about.
So Magpie can re-ask her question and get a meaningful answer.

I'm just jealous of serpico's shiny 350, man.  I need this tool.

I would suggest magpies better scores AC are due to her having more muscle on the top of the forearm and less on the underside.

Currently £52 on Amazon. I bought it as an investment in rehabbing my dodgy wrist, and I haven't been disappointed: it's a thing of great beauty and precision.
Heavy too.

I don't even know what way I have been doing it now, I am so confused  :-\  I think I still mean anti-clockwise, so internal rotation?  Is there a site somewhere that shows you what bits get worked by what movements you do?

Also, when I was at the way the other day, despite the fact I haven't been out or climbing much at all I was managing to hold pinches I'd have struggles with before, so PB must be doing something good, other than making me uber-competitive  :)
