My wife just asked me to buy her the new Take That album for Christmas. I refused on a point of principal, but agreed by way of a compromise to get her the new Damien Rice album (he being situated at the slightly less nauseating end of the James Blunt/David Gray spectrum). I've got a feeling I'll live to regret this deal.
