Managed to bag another one of the local projects. A line of small crimps leading up a beautiful granite wall, the video doesn't really do it justice. It would probably have looked a bit better if I'd have worn a brighter t-shirt eh

Vid from one of the Lancs locals. Bull Stones is a fantastic spot right in the middle of Bowland. A kilometre stretch of small buttresses and craglets. This place is brilliant for a big day out in a beautiful spot, with oodles of lower grade stuff (better than Thorn for the lower grades). There are a few good 7's as well. 1 hour easy walk-in puts most people off, but it's well worth it.

An ultrapod would be great for this. I've used it closed up and the velcro strap taking photos with an SLR and it's rock solid.

Yeah I've got one of these. Rarely use it but when I have it's been great for velcroing to a brush stick for an impromptu monopod. By virtue of the rigid legs and the positive closure of the strap they feel pretty solid. Never been tempted by the gorillapods.

Just found out after attaching one to a SUP Paddle that the screw tightener on the ball joint seizes solid after being exposed to seawater. Bugger. Will try WD40 on it.

Friends and I climbed the stuff on the first face about a decade ago but the steeper stuff was not touched. Looking forward to seeing what else you manage there.

The E9 trousers I have on in that video used to be bright yellow, about a month after buying them I realised that they made me look even more of a twat so I dyed them black.

Cheers guys. I'm glad you liked it. I was worried people would find the music too intense, personally im a big wuss so it was quite a big deal for me and the music acuratly depicted the feeling that was in my head.

Hopfully I can get back to the churnet soon. Theres a few more highballs that need to get done.
