"Give me, give me, give me, deliverance
Brother, sister, give me, give me
Deliverance, deliver me"

Can anyone remember who sang that?

So who's the shortest person who's ever done it? How tall is Dawes - surely he's done it at some point?

Don't get too excited, I've not actually tried it with any conviction, or indeed at all, for about 4 years. I've witnessed/heard about too many bad ankle sprains/breaks on it.

About time I did it though as it's a bit of a glaring CV omission.

Yeah isn't it time someone did something about the landing? I might be a bit far out here, but how's about a temporary ban and soil replacement/ reseeding??

re-awakening an old thread...
I visited Plantation for the first time in c.15 yrs on Sunday, and enjoyed having a play on Deliverance. I didnt really get close - but was wondering what the tall persons beta is.
I'm 6'3 and from the sidepull can get my hand about 12-18" from the top static (ish) with the outside of my LF in the pocket/dimple and RF smearing about 2" below the sidepull. Most people seem to need a real boost from the RF smear - But I am wondering if (with my lank) I can just jump by pushing up from the LH foot and just balancing with the RF? I had another play today - but was only half arsed/committed on the jump as I only had one smallish pad and gave up after jarring my heel...
Is another tall persons way padding up/across the slab to the left? I managed to get balanced on that, but it didnt really feel much higher than the other way...??

Excellent fun though!

Get your right foot where your left currently is and then step out left to a decent smear for the left foot, drop your left arm low and sink down a bit and then fling your left arm upward whilst pushing hard through the feet. latch & mantle. Result.  :beer1:
