I have a Basque PhD student and will be visiting his lab in Bilbao and home in San Sebastian this summer. I'll be flying to Bilbao or Biarritz, most likely late July.
It would be rude not do some cragging whilst I was out there. Said student has climbed with Paxi Usobiaga, no less, in the distant past, so he is not unsympathetic to his supervisor bunking off. I have no idea about the local climbing or temperatures to know if this is realistic or not. I'm not interested in projecting something in this instance, some nice 6-easy 7 puntering would be ideal, a multipitch day out even better. I'm likely to have a car and climbing partner.
