but only 8% of the fun

(and not actually as big as one might think)

I'm open to offers on the Toyota - it really does drive well

The Toyota's cam belt was done at the appropriate mileage (3 years ago?)

We've had it for about 5 years

The only thing that stopped it working properly was a faulty ignition switch - which has been replaced

Hi,

I'm very interested in this car but I'd like to discuss the price with you. I'd have liked to PM you but just couldn't work out how. I had a look on autotrader, and I thought similar corollas (by age, mileage and condition rather than engine size) were going for a bit less than that. How about £330? I saw a similar one for £325 with a 1.4l engine, but it's more convenient and easier to trust buying from you. I live in sheffield, I think that's where you said you were? Here's my mobile number in case you want to discuss by phone: 07843 412561. I do sometimes screen calls, because I get about a million PPI ones a day, and I can't always pick up at work, but I'll try and answer. I have an answer phone I always collect my messages. Otherwise I guess reply or PM me? I don't have a car at the minute (I'm waiting to see a van I can afford), and I'm thinking this could make a good interim vehicle for me so it would be an easy decision, no messing around. I'm not that keen on haggling though so don't let's do a Monty Python! I haven't gone in deliberately low or anything. Let me know what you think regarding the price, I tried to do a Parkers price guide thing but you have to pay for the info if the car's more than 10 years old or something, so I just went with what other people were selling them for.

Thanks!

Gill

Click on the Speech bubble icon underneath any users name and profile picture on the left of their posts.

The button you want to click on looks like this... (but is underneath Lagers pain au chocolate/pink anasazi profile picture).

Thanks for that, I found it. I guess I haven't got anything extra to say but I'll know for next time!

You are in the habit of posting your mobile on a public forum and get a shedload of PPI calls? I wonder why?!  ;)
