As of yesterday, I am the not so proud owner of the Fielders Wall pebble. Sorry.

Kanye had just slipped off with one hand on the top due to filthy rock, and was guaranteed to do it next go, then I went up and the pebble snapped just before I reached for the top.

It is probably still doable, but will be a bit harder and it was too grim and windy to have more than a couple of goes.

Atleast I'll have a good excuse for not being able to do this ridiculous problem now!

Had a 'snappy' day out at Cratcliffe and RHS a few years ago....
I own a lump off the starting holds under 'Razor Roof' has no affect on the problem and a tiny piece off the sidepull on the tricky slab to the right of 'the arete' at RHS.. fortunately this left behind a similar hold.
The grit was very crispy on a dry day after lots of rain..

I snapped the right hand hold off "Tit Grip" at Ramshaw, I think Martin "The Trav" has it still.

I certainly have - may sneak back one day and put it back on!!!!

At least I am one of only a hand full will ever have topped the Tit!

I am the owner of a very fine, very heavy book stop, that used belong on the start of desert island arete. I'd quite like to glue it back on some day, as it ain't as good as it used to be. You used to use your toe, and now you use your heel. I would like to add that i didn't pull it off though, found it underneath one day when i went to do last blasphemy.
It did always wobble a bit though.

I also have lots of fine pieces of sand stone i picked up on a geolgy trip to some woods near paris a few years ago. Took me a while to get some of them off, but the hammer is a such wonderful tool.

I've got a nice peice of grit from a new Froggatt problem in the woods that I lovingly cleaned & it came off the first feckin time I pulled on it...

...and one from Kinder - again - same circumstances...

I'll not talk about the one from the nudist beach in the blanca...

I bought some tricams and thought Id have a go placing them in my metolius simulator. Turns out that the holds arent that strong when you apply force like that.

the foothold down low on the corner of jerry's traverse at Plantation was a paper weight on my desk for years - i eventually threw it away - it reminded me of my inadequacies in life

I have a foothold remarkably similar in shape and appearance to an oyster shell, from the start of Caviar at Rubicon.....and as of today half of the finishing hold from Mid Ledge Spread at Malham..... :-[

(Both routes i know, and not that famous...)

After another foray on Gorilla Warfare today I snapped off one of the finishing crimps on the lip. Don't think it was too essential, plus it seems to have left a similar-sized crimp in its place.

If it's any consellation, the resulting fall was a very scary (but ultimately harmless) experience and I was too freaked out to try it again...

I own a large chunk of tufa from Lourdes in Chorro that broke off on the move leaving the resting cave at three quarters height. Was going to bolt it to my board but never got round to it.
