Dave is right... i did two weeks of power - endurance training at Bell Hagg as preparation for a trip to France.  i found that when i got to Buoux i could do 8b+ straight away.

My lack of sport climbing prowess is entirely unrelated to my hatred of limestone, honest guv...

(and anyway given my diet during that trip I was probably delerious, halucinating or something)

Just came across this thread. Has anyone been down here (dog's dinner buttresss, not parisellas) this year? What sort of condition is it in?

And does anyone have a topo, or a rough guide to the up problems?

I ain't been there since I started this thread but i got the impression it was a fairly dry place and its not laced with seepage breaks like the Tor. When we went most of chee tor was wet, but this was bone dry and the cornice was fairly dry too. I no of know topo, but there are a fair few obvious up problems, central flakeline is the most obvious easier thing.

anyone got the actual knowledge on dogs dinner? have been for a look, but some of the descriptions on peakbouldering don't make much sense, and some up things look filthy. seems like there should be a reasonable number of ok up problems, lacking only in line and finishing holds in some instances. r-man?

Robin flew to Oz two weeks ago. You may not get an answer from him for a while, but it was probably him who entered the descriptions into PB.info. I've only been once.

Yep. I remember the up problems being a bit indistinct, but it's always worth another look.

Parisellas is ... About as nice as Tom's Roof and Minus Ten.

Mighty fine then. BTW shouldn't this thread be called 'Dog's Dinner Boutros Boutros-Ghali'?
