Has anyone been?
Has the recent rain made it a no-go, or are things still climbable?

It was horrible wasn't it?! I was hoping to have gone there myself but gave up as soon as I looked out the window.

It was slightly drizzly here when I set out, so I'd hoped the ladder face may be OK. If not I was going to do some walking on the fells.
But it was bucketing down so the Bowderstone was like a ship crashing through the waves. And it was too windy to walk. 230 miles for shit all.

Great conditions tonight. Everything felt good, well at least everything I was trying.
Also met the lesser spotted Copley Bros I think, as well as a very pleasant chap from the Peak.

Conditions were good if a bit chilly last night. Rain today though, intermittently.
Met Matt Birch there last night, very sound bloke and very very impressive on the cobble.

just wondering what its like at the moment/will it be good tomorrow given the predicted "light showers" .....
pretty keen to hit the lakes/south lakes this weekend just Saturday looks pretty GASH. Havn't climbed that way much so any wet weather knowledge would be gratefully received.

Its been pretty good of late, was greasy as hell last week in the soaring temps but it has cooled off a bit now. Its an absolutely belting day at Keswick today, if it stays like this you should have a good day at the cobble. May well head there myself tomorrow afternoon.
Don't worry too much about "Light showers", the steep side always stays dry. (Disclaimer, I am not guaranteeing it wont be wet, it should be OK though!)

Today's conditions report:
From Inaudible to Powerpinch was all dry-ish although the finishing holds were starting to get wet. Crack and Crack Direct area ok, Bowels ok (thanks for asking, they've been troubling me of late), Ears soaked, back side minging (see Bowels). Nasty rainy type stuff falling from the sky in Borrowdale today.

Haven't been up recently but its been warm and dry today in Keswick. It has been very wet earlier in the week though so expect some seepage.

This weather station is pretty handy, and it's just down the road from the stone. Baltic today!
