Seeing as the weather has been awful of late and only a couple of places seem to be climbable I thought I'd start this thread as a temporary solution rather than having to look at all the others.

So at the moment it looks like:

Ravens Tor - Mecca, Ben's Roof, Weedkiller dry at the moment but right hand end fucked

Parisellas Cave - Some wet holds at the end of RA? Anything else, Doyle?

Almscliffe - Virgin Block, DMW area

I'm sure the grit will get dry as today it's looking cold and dry............

desperot at chatsworth - I don't think this actually gets wet unless the rain was coming on on a northwesterly.

Probably, that was just a guess as those areas seem to be perma-dry

Anyone?

Had the Cliff to ourselves this afternoon. DWR and Crucifix areas were bone dry and totally protected from the bitter northerly wind and the driving rain. Great conditions. Basically, anything south facing was bone dry and pretty much everything else was soaked. That place really does have magical properties.

Was thinking of trying some Peak Grit tomorrow that is both likely to be dry and more importantly out of the wind! Was thinking Curbar and Baslow as keen to look at Hurricane and Flatworld but worried they might be wet.

Also thought about Cratcliff and T crack but this is also likely to be green/wet on top still i guess?

May just have to get the cave with plenty of rags/chalk for the streams  :-\

I would have thought that Flatworld would be wet, although there's little tree cover at this time of year

you'd be better somewhere more open, in the wind, quicker drying....

Remergence, unless its puddled below badly
Plantation, plenty should be dry enough
some stuff along the edge at Froggatt, sole power? Art of White hat wearing?

I'm sure there are loads more options, other than the Cave (not that there is anything wrong with the Cave obviously  ;))

Art of White hat wearing?

this often has a wet streak on it after bad weather, drainage etc.

So the cave is allright is it? hmmmmmm. I might be over this weekend.

Dylog and Folog are going to the tor today, but if Dylogs info is right then they wont be doing what they set out for (PUTP).

I am going to check the weather. Looks lovely outside and towards the cliff today. Take a jumper.

Before I default to the Plantation does anyone think Electrical Storm or Famous Grouse might be dry today?
Also tempted by the Eagle Stone but is that likely to have a moat surrounding it?

Cheers

Stanage, Burbage North and West dry today. Conditions very good! That said, there was some runoff coming down problems like All Quiet so not out of the woods yet. Burbage South looked dry as well, from a distance.

I only reached Calver and then turned back after hearing from Folog.  By the sounds of it all was wet with run off
