Isn't falaffel typically (always?) deep fried?

As mentioned below, I recon a Shish from Elif's is pretty healthy, lots of salad, nice fresh pitta, freshly grilled meat. Vietnamese noodle bars can be pretty healthy, Mrs Obi gets one dish with rice noodles, shreaded cucumber and dry roasted pork with quite a light sauce to spoon over.

All that said, there is always a time and a place for good fish and chips (8pm last night, Tony's  ;) )

We had pizza last night from the Iranian place, Pizza Roma near the Hallamshire.

One of them had shish kebab on it. Fucking amazing. In fact I've just been eating the leftovers for breakfast and if anything it's even nicer cold. It's got egg yolk and tomatoes on it too. The "hot vegetarian" is also top standard and actually hot unlike a lot of supposedly spicy stuff.

I don't know how much fat or how many calories were in them and I don't care.  ;D

I hope you did the honourable thing and washed your breakfast down with that half full can of Tennants that was tucked under the end of the sofa..?   ;D

Cold pizza from the night before IS the breakfast of the Gods.  8)

I know everyone raves on about this - but I've never liked cold pizza, in fact I can't think of anything off hand that I like that it normally eaten hot. It's like drinking cold tea or coffee, what the fuck is all that about?  ;D

Not the same thing as drinking cold tea or coffee at all.

Leftover barbeque meat is also great the next morning, provided it has been barbied properly, not incinerated to black lumps, and eaten in a sandwich with a decent sauce.

Depends how much meat you have on your Pizza! Apparently this is an Australian Meat pie pizza.. from Domino's... No wonder Australia has the worlds 2nd worst obesity problem (apparently)

Just for the record I hate over laden Pizza's... Thin, a little tom, a little cheese onions, peppers and maybe a cheeky slice of pepperoni and the odd jalapeno...

For those who haven't noticed I linked that picture to a review of Crest Super. I have actually tried it and concur with the verdict.

I suggested something as well as cold pizza.
