@RAWK_Meltdown is well funny.  Someone monitoring the Red and White Kop forum for the most "Liverpool" posts and putting up on Twitter.

Great to see Chelski lose yesterday. Hoping city can see them off in the 2nd half of the season, unlikely as that may be.

Shame United got a draw and sad to see a typical 2nd half implosion from Liverpool again. We play so much better when Gerrard is on the bench (and not covering poor displays with pens) and Henderson can play in the middle... More fluid and more people taking the ball and going forwards at pace.

Gutted to decide Harry Kane wouldn't do anything in FF this week and benched him for coutinho (whilst Sasquatch transfers him in and he gets 18 points!)  :slap:

I did the same with Charlie Austin a few weeks ago and he got a hat trick. Yesterday morning I made the inspired decision to offload Berahino and Tadic- both scored and their replacements didn't.  ::)

Remember when Ron left and we all rejoiced because now they'd employ someone more modern, up -to-date, with a bit of nous?  Someone who wouldn't use the same old phrases over and over...

But it can't be any worse, can it.  Can't be.  Can it?

to answer my own question, BT Sport now have exclusive CL coverage, itv and sky lose out (then complain that BT paid too much)

This is a corker from the mail:

Quote
The decision was mutual with Townsend, one of the best operators in the difficult role of co-commentator.

Surely BT wont.... No..... will they?

Owen and Townshend  :wall: All they need is Jonathon Pierce as match commentator to make a perfect unholy triumvirate.

I think they should have drums banging continuously in the studio (like wanky palace) and wanky big flags waved accross the screen when a team scores (eg Arsenal). And - when anything interesting is happening the Neville brothers should each mud wrestle 20ft Anacondas whilst the cvnting ENGEEEEEERLAND trumpeter plays the theme from Dambusters.

I was saying to Mrs S on Friday that the "magic of the cup" is massively over rated and that upsets don't happen very often at all any more.......
