Brilliant!

I agree that the handshake thing is a load of bollocks. Also that Suarez is a prick but so is Evra for that "celebration".

Yesterday at Elland Road was awesome. Just watched the highlights on the club site. Brilliant stuff.

Its not a sign of respect its a formality you are forced to do by the FA.
:agree: and that's what makes it so meaningless...

it's bullshit, just another sponsorship opportunity.  Appropriate to have one bunch of mercenary moneygrabbers shaking hands beneath the logos of another set.

The BBC are reporting Hazard to Spurs
After Mata to Chelski last year...
if that happens the Gooner faithful are not going to be happy with the professor...

Not going to happen Dr.T
We'll be lucky to get champions league, without that Hazard, Poldolski etc are never coming and RVP is going (can't blame him, he's done a good shift)
If we do get Champions, Real or Man. C will offer him 200 grand a week and bye bye.

Rangers, proper fucked:

By the way, this is worth reading for anyone interested in how administration works. Specific to the Rangers case but relevant to others......

Hmm...
I feel sorry for the Fans - uncertainty and all that - but it seems to me that Craig Whyte has been quite canny - The HMRC debt is the killer blow - and this seems to be the only way to deal with it, unless someone dips into their pocket for £50 million....

The tax debt from the early 2000's seems to be the real issue here - and thats not Whytes fault - though he'll probably cop a load of flack for it...

Craig Whyte being "quite canny" is no big surprise when you look at his........er...... colourful past:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-16912365 etc

Yeah if it pans out correctly for him then he could end up owning the club through a new company and getting nearly all the debt written off.

Whether this will change the cycle of Rangers spending FAR more money than they can ever possibly generate is another matter.

Re. Tevez.

from his point of view. He has to make himself available to Man City for at least 10% of the matches this season. if this is the case he can wriggle out of his contract(see below). hence the farcical suggestion he will play again.

from the view of the club. they must receive the player back and jump through various hoops whilst showing he is unfit to play so as to not lose their asset on a free. - although I doubt they're too bothered about the fee, but rather about the precedent it sets for other high value, high earning misfits prepared to sit on the bench. By paying over the odds for soon-to-be reserve players big teams  make a rod for their own backs as shipping these players on becomes more difficult as other clubs are less likely to match wages.

Quote
Article 15 Terminating a contract with sporting just cause
An established professional who has, in the course of the season,
appeared in fewer than ten per cent of the official matches in which
his club has been involved may terminate his contract prematurely
on the ground of sporting just cause. Due consideration shall be
given to the player’s circumstances in the appraisal of such cases. The
existence of a sporting just cause shall be established on a case-by-
case basis. In such a case, sporting sanctions shall not be imposed,
though compensation may be payable. A professional may only
terminate his contract on this basis in the 15 days following the last
offi cial match of the season of the club with which he is registered.

Huddersfield Town Chairman Dean Hoyle said:

Quote
"This was a very difficult decision; one not taken lightly or in response to one result. Concerns have been raised over recent weeks.

"Lee and his coaching staff have put their all into the job over the past three seasons and he has made a huge contribution to the Club.

"However with 16 matches to go we still have an opportunity to achieve promotion and we have made this change with this in mind."

Tbh I put on Twitter last night it might be time he went but that was being pissed off from losing the derby.
All i can say is hoyle has done a lot for the club so will trust he knows what he is doing. We have been so poor at home this season and with season tickets going on sale soon he will have this in mind

We want Neil warnock!

shocker

Maybe just a straight swap going on, grayson and clark trading places?  Grubes are you serious saying Warnock?  I saw someone else mention him for their club and wondered why, sounds like a relic to me but maybe his approach suits the lower leagues?

Great news for Darlo today though, haven't seen the finer point sbut hope it all works out.

Gotta raise £750k by 30th April. Shares are going to be available in the new company at £100 each. A real opportunity for the fans to own the club it would seem.
