It's going to be a close run thing!

I'd like to see Everton get 4th and qualify for the group stages in the CL... And the mancs forced to travel to Azerbaijan in July for the Europa league qualifiers with gollum still hanging on to his job!

Hope Brighton can come up too

Went to anfield today for the charity game and the crowd were all singing "wer'e gonna win the league" but I declined to join in for fear of jinxing it!

As long as we get to see EBJT on his knees in tears of anguish at anfield and maybe in the CL final, it will be a great year

I hope Arsenal get 4th. Then we (Hull) are guaranteed the last Europa league spot that would have gone to Man U in 7th.. :)

Of course if we win the FA cup then 4th doesn't matter but I'm being a realist.. (Got a final ticket sorted \o/ )

So we might be missing Aguerro, Silva and Toure for our last few games which is disapointing.  If we get two of them back I can see this one maybe going to goal difference.

Who's the ref for the Liverpool Chelsea game on Sunday?

Good Daniel Taylor article about the situation:

http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/apr/21/david-moyes-manchester-united-manager-alex-ferguson

Ferguson has to take most of the blame.........although he wont of course.

Can't find it on Twitter now, but over the weekend saw a post along the lines of:

Liverpool are going to win the league, Thatcher's dead and Alex Ferguson has retired / Man Utd are a shambles. There's a Scouser somewhere with a lamp and no wishes left.

All I'm saying is that it's an absolute pleasure to be a Liverpool fan at the moment. League win or not, we've played some of the most exciting football ever.

Brilliant as a Leeds fan I love to see large clubs start to collapse

Just seen on Sky that Ryan Giggs has now ruled himself out of succeeding Moyes as he wants to spend more time with his brother's family.

Quite a day for the footy fans on this board...

Sunlan beat ManU at Old Trafford, Brighton make it to the play offs with a last min goal, Birmingham escape relegation with a last min goal... and... Hull will be in Europe next year thanks to Man CIty beating Everton.... (who go back to top of the league...)

Hull in Europe not just on the way, great stuff.

Crazy finish as usual, feel for Donny but remember last year?  They conceded a last minute penalty at Brentford, they were third as-it-stood and Brentford second. The penalty was missed, they countered and scored which lifted them up two places so they finished as champions and Brentford missed out.  Back around I guess, this is how it feels to be Brentford.

Massive goal for us, the club will hopefully now change hands a lot more easily, Clark will surely be sacked and being still a Championship club we'll be able to attract someone like Malky Mckay or even invite Chris Hughton back, a solid manager who knows hs way out of the right end of this division.

Edit: guess should say fair lay to Clark who has been like a pilot steering a one wing, no engine plane all season. Thankless task.  But he is far too involved and gets too worked up to be a manager, needs to quit while he still can.

Selhurst is still a fucking shithole rammed (or normally half full) with Croydon chavs.

Much as I hate them you have to say fair play to how Palarse have done since TP took over but their ground is a total dump and they play drums and goal music.

And are cunts.

A comprehensive rebuttal of Palace's virtues there!
