What's it been like today? Doesn't seem to have rained in Sheff since morning. Same in peak?

It stayed pretty dry all day in Hathersage today. Very windy on the tops apparently.

 hello
I was up at trackside for about an hour at fiveish.. It was humid windless and about as crap as condidtions can be without being wet I'm afraid.. Humid windless and greasing off loads. A bit of wind would probably sort it out but a long way from being mint.. Of course tomorrows another day!

Got some free time today don't suppose it's dry over in Burbage Valley is it? Absolutely soaked here near Mansfield.

Are there any webcams other than the 'outside' one? It always just looks overcast and dingy, though that could just be the weather.

It's cold and has been damp I would be suprised if it was worth even going and checking.

Tomorrow looks pants too, just as well I'm injured.

Its been drying quite well here in S10 though  :-\ and showers forecast for 0700 tmz morning, decisions decisions. Possibly wet peak or hopefully dry minus 10.

Was just at Lawrencefield, and pretty good conditions despite the lack of wind down there. The odd bit of run off on one or two things. Other edges obviously drier but colder.

Anyone been to millstone recently? Planning on going Saturday...

Was fine there last week. All depends on the weather on the day really. I've never been much of a believer in crags being greener at one bit of the year as opposed to another. To my eyes the greeness stays much the same, but the moisture level changes, giving the impression of more or less green crud.

Hey Sam.

Wandered up to look at Desparete at Burbage South after work this evening. The crag was mostly dripping wet. It rained on us a little, but not enough to make a difference. The boulders felt pretty dry, but your best bet would be go somewhere very exposed.

Thanks for that.
I went to Newstones/Baldstones in the end, it was dry and fairly good nick. I was over keen though and arrived 45 minutes before it got light! It was nice though, having a coffee on a rock watching it very gradually get lighter..

Not for sure but given the view out of my window in Meersbrook as a rough guideline almost certainly yes.

|Cloud and fog earlier which has lifted a bit but I wouldn't be unduly optimistic.

I was out at the Buckstone block this morning which was getting a bit of a breeze and the rock was actually dry. However it was so misty that the moisture was condensing out onto the holds, so not very good conditions. Looked like anything not in the wind would have been damp

Word from plantation just now is very similar, it's surprisingly dry but conditions are poor. It's climbable provided you're bimbling.
