Froggatt was great (for routes) today, quite a few people bouldering too.

Melt and drops were increasing when we left.

Tegness quarry was a bit green and damp on the north side of the pinnacle (not that I expect anyone to be going there bouldering!)

I know it doesn't really count as Eastern edges, but in case anyone's interested, everything at Robin's Hood Stride and Cratcliffe (apart from Hueco Wall) was in pretty good nick today.

Anyone thinking of heading out would be well advised not to bother today.  Snowing heavily in Sheffield at present. :P

Its the other halfs birthday today and we were meant to be heading over to Manc. Anybody driven over from that way? I see the woodhead is passable, can't see any info on the snake?

Melting fast here in Manc - couple of inches dropped - easily passable slush fest on the roads..  had a look here?

Yes provided it's not covered in snow. It gets bad press but I love that boulder.

Ace, the fairer half is meeting her sister in town at 12 - so I spy a window of opportunity....  :)

Anyone know what the millstone bouldering spots (secret garden, mother cap, etc) are like at the mo? Thinking of heading up there tomorrow.

It was raining a bit at Burbage around 3pm today. Well I was only spitting really, but it was hard and persistent enough to get the floor, and the pads wet. The rock was fairly dry, but starting to get greasy when I sacked it off. If it doesn't rain, then it should be windy enough for everything to dry out nicely.

Conditions were good at Rhs/Cratcliffe last week, I imagine they will  dry quickly after the light shower this afternoon.
