Those are good pelican faces; though not as good as Lagers Jnr's   She's either so blown away by the cuteness that she's in a trance like state, or she just isn't that bothered.   ;D

Lagers Jr overcome by the cuteness of two kittens

How bizzare Lagers, you and I appear to have very similar cats (one ginger tabby and one calico/caliby/tortoiseshell)...

George...

Cali (and Paula)...

...and another one of Cali 'cause its perhaps the cutest shot I have of her...

And as the thread seems to be veering of track towards general animals a pelican shot from my "archives"...

This was taken in a town called Kalbari on the west coast of Australia.  The pelicans congregate at this spot every morning 'cause some old geezer started feeding them years ago and they are now accustomed to being fed there at the same time of day, its one of the tourist "attractions" in the town.  Very impressive birds, you wouldn't think that something that size would be able to fly.

Ah...
those are cats from a previous relationship - the ginger one is Peter and the girl is Lilly. Photo is a few years old. We have a different cat now

Mia - she is scared of everything (rescue cat), but is slowly getting tougher. She doesn't like me at the moment due to my use of power tools.

I quite like that picture, don't think the focusing is off at all.

Both of our cats are from the cat shelter in Broomhall, they took a little while to settle in but are very happy these days and get on quite well.

  • Old skool...with emphasis on the "old".
Both of our cats deserted their previous owners and moved in with us when we were still in the UK. We also took in a big, black stray (7 kg of him!) but he already had kidney problems and died a couple of years ago after we moved here.

And having given our Oscar all the attention I should give our other cat Jasmine a plug!

Oh yes, these chaps we saw at a local wildlife rescue and research centre (it's barely a km over the back of our place) are definitely cute but they weren't going to get any closer and I hadn't got the right lense with me.
