He's lost his immunity now so that'll be a right bun fight for those pesky lawyers I expect...

So, finally the Xtians admit that Homosexuals have rights!

"Mike Judge, from the Christian Institute, said after the hearing: "What this case shows is that the powers of political correctness have reached all the way to the top of the judicial tree, so much so that even the Supreme Court dare not say anything against gay rights."

 Correctness: Check
Judicial:          Check
Rights:             Check

"You keep using that word (rights). I am a not a sure it a means whata you teenk ita means." ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inigo_Montoya ).

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but I thought that this was a well researched piece by the Guardian.... Makes a change compared to most of the Daily Fail style "hanging on by their fingernails above a drop of certain death" bollocks...

A not very interesting news item but for the four(!) negations in the headline…

I think most people can probably cope with going to ukc if they really want to see a picture

Never really understood bringing children up to be honest and then lying to them about santa/easter bunny/toothfairy/[...].

Don't really recall finding this out myself, but don't think it was a huge revelation/disappointment having already found presents under my parents bed that santa then gave to us.  :-\

It's nice for kids to have these little bits of "magic" in their lives. We spend long enough being fact addled cynics.

Having said that, I don't think Sharpe jnr will give a flying fuck when he finds out Father Christmas isn't real. He's that underwhelmed about Christmas anyway it's actually quite funny. We had to wake him up last year on Christmas morning and yet he's woken me up at 6 every day the Ashes has been on (even though we've been getting royally battered). The most excited I've seen him this year was when I told him we were going to the Amex for Brighton Blackburn.

Can't imagine where he gets it from.....   ;D

+1, I can't remember any particularly crushing disappointment when I found out, but can clearly remember the excitement when I "believed".

Sounds reasonable.

The Home Office has said the new injunctions - part of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Bill - would never be imposed in an unreasonable way.

What could possibly go wrong?

Add charity muggers / sub-prime credit card hawkers (rates of both seem to have soared in Leeds City Centre recently) to that list and I'd vote for it.
