Hiya, I've downloaded the topo for the boulder in cemetery park but only the pictures have come out and the actual problems are just a load of funny characters. I don't suppose anyone have the problems part that they could copy and paste in here or something?
Thanks very much.

That's odd. Here you are, hope you enjoy. I'm just about to go down to the boulder right now, as it happens. Maybe I'll see you there sometime.

T h e P r o b l e m s

In rough order of position on boulder, from left to right.
R = right hand, L = left hand, LR = left then right, RL = right then left

–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––Starting on Side A:
7c – Parklife – An awesome traverse with a killer move to finish and plenty of
spice on the way there. Lots of trickery needed on the first section.
Section 1 (7b) – (LR1) – R3 – L81 – R68 – L34 – R35 – RL37
Section 2 (7b) – R22 – L21 – R8 – L89 – R63 – L61 – L60 – R58 – L57 – R18 –
L54 – RL21 – R4 – L29
7b+ – Section 1 there and back is powerful stuff (7c+ for the harder version)
7c+/8a? – The Concrete King – This is the DADDY. A refined version of
Parklife, with less moves and more power.
Section 1 (7c) – (LR1) – R87 – L81 – R68 – L69 – RL37

7a+ – Scouse’s Other Prow
(L93) – RL0 – RL68 – R75 – L78

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Starting on Side B:
7a+ – Killer Crossodile
(R1) – L31 – R35 – L69 – L88 (undercling) – R87 – L1
7a – Heelhook Traverse – No back wall for feet until matched on 68
(7a+ eliminating R98) Surprisingly good
(L32 – R3) – L99 – R98 – RL91 – RL68 – R77
7a+ – The Obvious Dyno
(2 – 99) – 22
7b+ – Otter Chess – The obligatory nasty crimp problem

(LR97) – L96 – R7 – L21 – R16
7a – Balls Out
(LR96) – R13 – L24 – RL54
7b – Gecko Fabulous – 7b+ with higher left hand hold 11*

And on the un–numbered side of the boulder is an obvious large sloper…
6c+ – Dark Side of the Spoon. Share and mantle to reach holds above the niche.
Facing right is easiest. Facing left is much harder.

Just checked and topo seems to work ok for me. Dunno what's up with yours. This is the link, just in case you got a corrupt version from someone else.

That's brilliant, thanks very much. The link you posted is just the same so I don't know what's wrong with my computer, it's a mac which may be the problem :-\
Cheers anyway, will have a go at some of those problems later this week.

If you mean the others in Sheffield, then no, there aren't. There used to be a ropey topo for the healey boulder on the bendcrete website, which consisted of coloured circles marking a few problems, but it seems to have been taken down.

The Cemetery boulder is by far the best boulder though - loads of good holds, potential for eliminates as hard as you like, good for pumpy sideways stuff. Plus useful proximity to pub and park.

The Healey Boulder isn't bad, especially considering it was made, what, a decade ago? And it's near the Sheaf. The others aren't much good.

I never do. The landing is made of that black playground spongy stuff.

What about the wall at Broomgrove road? I was thinking of taking the camera down and making a bit of a topo but it would need a fair bit of input from people who boulder harder than me (into the 7's I guess) to come up with some good problems.
What does the traverse get, F7a/+ if you go high at the start/finish and about F7b to stay low??????
Drop me a mail if anyone has some good problems.

I've not been there, but lots of ukb people have. Try starting a different thread...

i've been to broomgrove a few times. its a good choice in winter, always dry. i went over the xmas period a couple of times when the weather in the peak was diabolical and i was on limited time and didn't want to fork out £6 to go indoors.

I found the topo whilst cleaning out an old hard drive. Enjoy.
