I'm well aware of that so I've taken the hangers off the first 2 bolts as well (you can climb back to the deck from the 3rd bolt).

Yes but are you doing this before each redpoint attempt? If not the cocktalk police will invalidate the ascent anyway.  ;)

I thought the best way of pointing out to people (Jibe) that something was your (Pego) project was to smear all the holds with vaseline?

I always wondered how long it took before it was climbable again? Did Dave have to use greese remover or something on it?

greese remover

Is that something that removes geese or grease?

Someone coverd some holds on a route at the Restaurant in SA as part of a stag do prank. Took ages to scrub off, but vaseline still seeped out the rock (sandstone).

My memory's not that good unfortunately. It certainly did the job.

As far as I'm concerned one climb up/climb down is enough (That's the way it has always been, no? ). To be honest the main reason I don't clip the first two bolts on the lead is to reduce drag. I guess it would probably be alright with DMM rollers?

Vaseline? There's no way I'm putting that on those holds - too damn slopey and hard to hang on to as it is!

Really? I thought it was the project that became Dalliance?

Leaving the draws in saves me time and hassle (and stops my rope getting knackered), but it also lets people know that it is still a project (i.e. hands off you thieving bastards, I sweated blood cleaning and bolting this thing so it's mine until I say otherwise!!!).
Its hardly well hidden. It does look good tho
