Mini-Obi 2.0 arrived at 2:20pm today. A mighty 9lb 14oz. Boy. Ox.

That's a big un! Congrats.

Name? Paduan?

Noel was on the list, along with Frosty, Holly and Rudolph. Settled on non-seasonal Jago Thomas

Congrats Obi    :great:    9lb 14oz  :o  Welcome to the world Jago..

6 weeks in and Mini-Granticus aka Jonas has yet to reach such mighty proportions...

Iris Anne Ginns entered the world on the 7th December, so still not a  month old, possibly the maddest month I've ever had! still a bit  and no doubt will be for some time! Loving it really.

This afternoon my first son was born. Jack Henry Cooke (a good pirate name) arrived at just after 2pm, weighing in at 10lb 10oz (4.83kg). His sisters are rather excited.

It was a planned caesarian because the consultant was expecting an even bigger baby

They're both doing fine

A belated record of the aforementioned arrival of Sibylla Amaryllis just over four weeks ago.

I'm hoping she's going to buy her dad a birthday pint this evening.

Nice one Yoss, and happy birthday!

I met my 3 month old neice for the first time this weekend. Kyle was vaguely interested until she didn't respond to him offering her a megablock, so he ignored her the rest of the time.

I had to Google Megablock!

I love the small child interaction stories.  Was at a friends place.  My toddler godson was there too - he picked up one of the slightly older children's toys, and started doing his own thing.  The owner of the toy (who must be about a year older) snatched it from Archie.  Archie bursts into tears.  Angus is told very firmly to give it back.  He does.  Archie takes toy, looks at Angus in the eye, and then drops the toy with a gesture of such amazingly malevolent uninterestedness that I will one day have to buy him a pint to celebrate it...

Beautiful hairy baby!  Lovely name too.

Her mother was delighted at her head of hair.  I think she has a better mop than my 2 and a bit year old godson...

I bought her a goat hair hairbrush the other day.

I am also a complete convert to reusable nappies. Bum Genius to be precise.
