Myself and MB added another three fine problems here last night. This truly is a superb addition to the Fairy Steps circuit as unlike all the other sectors it has a high concentration of hard problems in one area - 1/6c 1/7a 2/7a+'s 2/7b's 2/7b+'s.

Speaking of new developments, I notice you missed out on this World Class Venue, Greg.  You must be slipping mate!!!  These look like some of the best lines on northern Lime.  Or were you classing it as "Lancashire" and waiting for R-Man to develop it?

I think perhaps the images above don't do the crag justice, but even so this comment seems a slightly offhand? The crag is as good as most limestone bouldering in the UK... of course if you don't like limestone then perhaps it is shit  .

greg, i think that they are talking about the sit crag that they have linked to rather than the crag that tom and your goodself has found (wich does indeed look good).
the shit crag does indeed look amazingly bad.

Just noticed this on UKC News:

So writes Greg Chapman, Lakes bouldering guru, describing how he came to name a new limestone buttress on the northern flanks of Longtail Wood in a close proximity to the well documented tiers of Fairy Steps.
