Was trying it yesterday with my heel up on that flakey spike thing just above the gorrila warfare starting flake....n as the topic name suggests im affraid the hold broke off.....sorry!  Im pretty sure you use this hold to do it the non dyno way so ive brought it home just in case anyone wants to/has the means to glue it back on again. Im totally gutted, this method seemed really close to woking!
Anyhow if if anyone wants to glue it back on i'll happily drive it round their house....would be a real shame to loose this way of doing such a classic problem.

Not sure what hold you mean. As far as I know, people who have done it static put left heel next to hands on the left hand side of the sloper/rail. I was scared that you had pulled off the entire sloper when I first read the title!!
