I hate people who are always trying to convert people to climbing.
I hate who think that cause they can do one problem of grade X that anything that feels harder to them is grade X+1.

People not enjoying their climbing who sit round with a face like a smacked arse because they can't climb a route/problem always of a specific, although often arbitrarily settled upon, grade that they - and here's what kills me - "should be able to do" well, go figure.

It's good when people have a bit of passion, get psyched, go for it maybe even have a little hissy fit whilst swinging on the rope after failing but when the hissy fit lasts all day and they cannot laugh at themselves... well climbing is meant to be fun isn't it?

I quite like watching people have childish tantrums. Like when cofe fell off l'ange naif and threw his boots. was awkward at first but well funny when he couldn't find them again.
I had a good hissy fit this year in Magic wood when I couldn't do a problem which Dave promptly flashed. Well embarrasing in hindsight, but sometimes the rage overcomes you and you've just got to let it out.

The fact that guide book photography has taken a nose dive in recent years despite the democratisation of photo equipment (I think this might be due to less lycra at the crags).
