Here's his idea for a bouldering movie:
"...Imagine the entertainment value of us fogeys floundering away at Widdop ('The Birdie Song' plus Stuart Hall style mirth-ridden commentary) Then cut to young hotshot humiliating us (to jungle soundtrack); me ambushing him from behind with a sharp rock to the skull; and close-up of me and Gorple scooping his brains out and eating them (Bliue Oyster Cult 'Don't Fear the Reaper'?). Grand finale: you with your Ron Hills round your ankles atop a spreadeagled red setter that some poor rambler has left tethered to a fence? (Gerry and the Pacemakers 'I like it' and Freddie and the Dreamers 'How do you do what you do to me?')..."
