Superman II
March 17, 2005, 03:41:32 pm
Superman gives up his super powers so that he can marry Lois Lane but he is unaware that the three evil Kryptonian criminals he inadvertently released are conquering Earth.

Perhaps more relevantly, I see that Tim Clifford has reclimbed Superman without the sidepull that fell off. At 8a+.

no it was paul daniels playing tricks on you. wicked little man. he's watching you. he thinks you're the chosen one. he's going to boil you up in a stew and eat your head off. and then your arms. beware short magicians i say.

There was the original sidepull, then a bit fell off making it worse, but it was reclimbed in this state.

Then the rest of it fell off, and it wasn't (as far as I know) reclimbed before TC did it.

You've got crabboy all wrong! He's one of the good guys, a real man of the people, infact I'd feel safe with the crabbed one by my side if push ever came to shove with the evil beaked wizard.

A small bit of the sidepull broke off 2 winters ago, myself and i think ben Moon reclimbed the problem with the worse sidepull, thinking probably font 8b? Markus Bock thought possibly font 8b+ i think, then ben broke the rest of the sidehold off one day last summer whilst climbing with me and markus Bock, both Markus bock and Ben Moon then tryed the line quickly without the sidehold using a small crimp just above, thinking it to be easier this was than the original superman but neither did it, hence Tim Clifford thinks 8a+, hopefully the sidehold will be glued back on this summer and original classic problem restored.
Hope it all makes sense

So it was an eliminate? Or had no one noticed the crimp before?

It's always been an eliminate, but the move in question was probably easiest with the sidepull as it originally was, before it broke the first time. The next move above is certainly eliminate - it's quite a hard move to the top sloper, but you can easily reach left to a huge sidepull. Shame really.
