Another Iain's prow.

Was watching some of Crabstick's recent footage (the lucky bastard gets out loads climbing/filming during the week) and was surprised to see Iain Farrar monkey on a sticking under a big, horizontal, awesome looking prow. Turns out it lives in the woods somewhere beneath the Sentinal area at Burbage North and was climbed a fair few years back at around 7b along with a few other things close by.
Amazing to think that such a big feature could lie un-noticed in the middle of Sheffield's 2nd nearest bouldering crag. Will have to go check it out. If it's half as good as it looks then it should be high quality. Will try and get pics or a screen grab off the film.

i've been in them woods before - didn't see no prow, but there was a ripped wall that looked good but no obvious line, and some low shit.

I think these boulders just appear out of thin air every now and then.

I've been down there too. Saw the ripped wall, and I did a lip traverse of it. I also saw what might have been the prow. I swung out to the end of it on a jug and did a mini monkey up to the top of it. Exciting fun. There also looked to be a hard project to go on the ripped wall, although the flakes looked a brit bittle.

What exactly is a ripped wall? Does it have a six pack or something?

Loads of people, myself included have played about on these blocks for years, I don't know about the specific problem but there's lots of nice problems that have recieved little attention.

However if they get publicity can peolpe not wire brush them!!
