I think you're thinking of GG Allin - who did eat his own shit on stage, but didn't die doing it (AFAIK).

'Don't Eat The Yellow Snow'
or 'St Alfonzo's Pancake Breakfast'
Infact anything from 'Apostrophe' that album is awesome... not that ive heard all of his work, too much at once makes me slightly mad

AT LAST!

My favourite music artist of all time immortalised within this thread. I have all his albums bar about 5 on original vinyl including the now fairly rare Thing Fish box set.

I'm actually having to offload some on ebay at the moment due to the immobility of nostalgic living. If anyone is interested drop me a line and I'll let you know the score.

The present day composer refuses to die.

For someone who used to claim to only smoke and drink coffee, Zappas a pretty far out cat...
JD whent to see his wife in Cali, something was said and according to the doors, Zappa was in the room, can not remember exactly what the story was, but he was pretty convinced he met him "eatherally"
His biography is fucking funny, during court cases he just wipes the floor with the prosucution.

Bobby Brown, however playing Jewish Princess in assembly at school (catholic school) got some amused looks from the staff (and made the only Jewish girl in the school run out in embarrassment as every one turned to look at her).
