Yeah it is good.  I downloaded it on Friday night and have given it a couple of airings but I was a bit p*ssed at the time so I can't pass judgement apart from that I would still like to bed her.

Just had a quick listen through this and confirm that it's quality - much more dance oriented than her last album but  her voice still shines throughout.

And I agree that she is hot as hell

Yet again I wish I had time to leaf through 87 pages of no doubt excellent recommendations but still, I've neither time nor money. 

It's been out ages now (show's you how with it I am) but I just wondered if anyone else had heard, or like me had -ahem- `accidentally' bought Shock Value by Timbaland?  For the record I'm listening to it and like bits of it. 

Those people open minded enough to think that all popular music and all RnB is crap needn't worry themselves.  But it's pretty diverse so I'd be surprised if many people genuinely disliked all of it.  In which case you could just give it to some lucky young relative for Christmas (those shock protected sticers stick back on surprisingly well). 

If you liked any of the singles, Nelly Furtado, and/or quality `gangsta' raps featuring the words "I'm the motha' fucking man", "N*gger" and "clip" etc. then there should be something you like on it.  Thankfully for me Justin Timberlake isn't on it too much and mercifully Elton John keeps schtum and only plays his Piano on it, and only on one track.

I have seen Battles twice.  1st time blew me away.  2nd time we left early: shite PA etc.. 

Fantastic band. 

Drummer is one John Stainer (ex-Helmet) almost as good as Rey Washam, but not quite that good.  Other members are ex-Don Caballero, an amazing band graced with the drumming of the octopus-armed Damon Che.  Damon Che, solo, on a bad day, is still way better that the entire rock output of France and Germany combined.
