Wolfcrag Tree
January 12, 2012, 09:36:32 am
Just seen Slacklines Wildcat post and it reminded me that on the last trip to Wolfcrag over Xmas/New Year that there is a large tree that has been blown down at the very top of the wall in the Chimphead/Experiments in Incest to Tendonitis area.

There is a fair bit of loose rubble on the quarry floor so may be prudent to watch your landings but also the fact the now exposed root ball of the tree containing lots of loose rock and crap is like a geological sword of Damocles and given the shite weather there is likely to be a lot of choss sat in the rootball and the vegetation below that the wind/rain/biblical deluge could dislodge randomly so suggest some circumspection if on this section in the next few months especially if when there is more heavy rain ...

Be careful out there!
