Best bit is I was expecting to be in Moscow for the Slovenia game. Now I am not due to the fact that getting is visa is major hassle.

Love the Carlsberg advert. Nice of them to put Foggie in there.

That new Nike video's good and very clever in places but they're already trying to rewrite the past never mind the future as toothy's not been picked by Brazil.

Bet they're gutted Messi's sponsored by the Das.

Can't beat the airport one.

Yeah. Damn right.

Never miss the opportunity to out worthless pieces of racist scum.

(Sadly, I can't find the original of this ignorant tosspot, the teeth have been photoshopped in.

Nobstain's actions are sadly all too accurate!)

Maradona says:

"Argentines should relax because to beat this team our rivals will have to put all their beef on the grill."

I posted that back on previous page, but couldn't get it to embed.

Still funny though.

Drogba's out of the World Cup. Suspected fractured elbow. Sorry but.......

Rio's hurt his knee in training, in hospital for a scan.

Be interesting if Terry limps out and we end up with the Spurs partnership, which could be good if Ledley's knees hold up (unlikely!).

It'd be funny to see Cashley miss out being the undesirable he is, although that would definitely impact our chances in a major way!

I really hope Fabio starts with Gerrard supporting Rooney and Cole or Milner on the left for the USA game but I imagine we'll see that hulking goal machine Emile doing the dirty work up front, then Crouchie on for a deflected tap in  :pissed:

I wouldn't be surprised to see Crouch start but then Capello is difficult to second guess which is a good thing. He's also shown that he knows how to change things round effectively when things aren't going our way or when we need to shut up shop. These were two things Sven was fucking shit at.

For me Crouch has to start. He scores when he plays. 18 competitive caps 10 goals. Simples.

Which one is Fiend?

For someone who doesn't care about football, and makes a point of letting everyone know this, you seem to be in this thread a fair bit.

A quick heads-up.  Tomorrow (Tuesday) the Racing Post comes with a 90+ page World Cup special.  If their yearly Premier League specials are any guide, it'll be worth getting even if you have no interest in betting.  More analysis and features than you can shake a stick at: lots of properly in-depth, reasoned stuff generally backed by hard stats.  Much better and more accurate than the cliched bumpf you get in newspapers (afterall, the pundits in the RP have money at stake and the best way to make a long-term profit in betting is by taking advantage of commonly held but erroneous opinions)

Joining in the FIFA World Cup 2010 thread is certainly a good way to escape the football. Reverse psychology, fight fire with fire etc... ;)
