After the Vimeo disaster, I've had quite a few people asking after the videos.  I will try to gradually re-edit and re-post.  I hadn't realised how many videos I had!!

#436 Rivington Ultra Trail Marathon
April 13, 2013, 07:00:09 pm
Rivington Ultra Trail Marathon
13 April 2013, 4:17 pm

The official Rivington Ultra Trail 26 was postponed due to deep snow. We decided to run it unofficially today.  43km, over 1000m ascent. I struggled with the heat in the middle section which wiped me out. We did it in 5:50:02, which is below our 6 hour aim.  Still a little disappointing that I was shit.

#438 Manchester Marathon 2013

Manchester Marathon 2013
28 April 2013, 10:15 pm

Bizarrely, I started and finished at the same time as a friend. My chip time gives a two minute difference?!?

Our chip time was 4:23:47 which correlates with watch time.

Much less set , cold and muddy this year hence the 15 minutes less on the time.

Good work on the marathon Gareth...

Any chance you could re-upload the Parbold vid as it seems to have disappeared from Vimeo?

Yes, so I'm re-editing into 10 minute films (ish) so there aren't loads of single problem shorts now.  It's taking a while!

Marathon wise, the splits etc have changed a few times (weird!) but these are about right.  I was actually more than 15 minutes quicker this year, which reflects the weather more than my fitness I suspect!!
