Nice, noticed there was an update notification yesterday.  When you say its got iPlayer, is that built into the browser or is it a fewture that works with PlayTV?

Isthis the 3.0 or 3.01 update as I read the former was very flaky so am slightly apprehensive to update.

Also, whats happened with regards to wireless and have you encountered the blu-ray problems people mention?

P.S. - This would probably sit better in the copmuters, technology and the internet forum  ;)

Well I was gonna talk about the volcano wildlife programme..

But was so cool I didn't repost!

I player is a function on the menu bar, just like a game is.

Works really well indeed.

I don't haveant blu rays.. Bu I have one that has a green bar fonwm the side when played. Well annoying.

I auto update every time, so it will b the most up to date software.

Sweet, this is going to see a lot more usage now (despite having Virgins iPlayer, just find the navigation shite).

Cool, might dig around a bit more and see what I can find out about the Blu-Ray problems before updating.

Whats your problem with wireless on the PS3?

Tried this last night - iPlayer through the PS3 is great - really easy.

We've watched loads of Blu Ray on our PS3 through LoveFilm with no problems whatsoever, I the box auto updates so it should be up to date.

Despite following the PS3 Twitter Feed* (which I mostly ignore since a lot of its inane!) I need to ask!

* Anyone who liked Stargate Universe can catch the first two episodes on the PS Network apparently!

I guess its Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and no I've not ordered it. I haven't played any of the others to be honest yet.

I'm more of a Gran Turismo/Grand Theft Auto kind of chap, but seeing as GT5 isn't scheduled until spring maybe I should do some of these CoD games.

 :agree:

Both iplayer and blu-ray work great on my ps3.  Console works much more reliably wired than wireless though.

New iplayer function is superb and better quality (don't know why) than iplayer through pc to tv.

Cool, should really risk it and upgrade.

I think this could be down to the fact that the PS3 can upscale videos apparently.
