Sounds bogus to me.

Sorry slackline. I have no idea what that is (i know what a Raspberry Pi is) or what is supposed to do. Even after a quick google search about Bitcoin mining. Can you quickly explain for a cretin? I'm genuinely intrigued.

Yeah, I'd read that. Thanks for the link. Is it a kind of game? Puzzle solving kind of thing? Or does it have a serious purpose.

I guess this kind of explains it a bit . . . http://foreverrising.wordpress.com/2011/06/15/what-is-bitcoin-and-what-is-bitcoin-mining/ . . . . maybe . . . .

Yes it has serious applications.

Read relevant sub-reddits for more information/guidance on electronic currencies, there are thousands and thousands of articles out there on the web which explain it far better than I have the time (or inclination) to (re-)write.

This amused me because they'll spend more money on electricity than the value of bitcoins they could 'mine', i.e. its a waste of time (same is true of even higher specification machines, I think TomTom posted a link to UKB a while back on someone  who's a hot shot in IT and decided to set up a farm of machines, not got time to go looking I'm afraid).

Provenance?

The picture is from the film! Simone has one of those tables; with the eaves up they are VERY unstable. The young Master often flips his pasta onto his lap.

Looking at other JD memorabilia, I'm amazed someone is hoping for £125 for a ticket from a 1979 gig. JD weren't even headlining.

Amusing reviews of the Samsung 85" 4k UltraHD TV (a snip at $35000 :o )

Quote
We originally got this television when our nephew moved in. It has been a wonderful addition to the house for our nephew.

You see, our nephew was born and bred in West Philadelphia, where he spent most of his days playing basketball and relaxing. That was until a couple of guys who were up to no good started making trouble. It seems he got into one little fight, my sister got scared and told him he was moving in with myself and my husband here in the Bel-Air section of Los Angeles.

It was a tough adjustment period. How someone can find the stinkest cab from LAX IS BEYOND ME right off the plane. But when he got to the house and saw this television hanging in our kitchen by the sliding doors?

He knew he was finally here! He said he felt like a prince.

Everyone loves it. Our son loves dancing to Its Not Unusual on its sound system and personally for myself the detail really helps me see my fave plastic surgery shows (as I have completely changed how I look in less than two years.)

The price is a little low on what we were expecting, but hey: The price is as unbelievable as our lives.

 Thank you, Samsung!

Shopping for Xmas presents saw one with over £7000 delivery! Also saw a negative review for some metal soup spoons which 'got too hot' when put in hot soup, and a positive one for the same spoons being 'waterproof' ie. They hold liquid.
