Here's the deal: Powah - dubstep night at Bar 122 in Huddersfield, 10pm - 4am, this Saturday 29th Nov, a snip at £5 to get in.

Dubstep downstairs which seemed pretty cool, but more importantly upstairs is rude and righteous reggae being played by Duncan Disorderly off this very forum - you might remember him from hanging off the 5th bolt of Body Machine all summer, or lanking his way through Whiskey Galore despite two dodgy knees. He has a phat collection of tunes and a bundle of enthusiasm to play them, along with his mate Dave (also a climber), and Dr Huxtable "'pon the dub controls".

Last time was well good (and I'm not a dedicated reggae fan) - chilled out bar area, comfy sofa, and the excellent Axis soundsystem - which was so good the bass had plaster cracking off the ceiling, but didn't leave your hearing fucked the next day.

Basically all Huddersfield / Halifax / Rochdale / Bradford / Leeds / Wakefield / Sheffield massive should be representing, it's a good night.
