Fingerboard attached to bar ?
June 16, 2008, 10:40:45 pm
I've a vague recollection of having seen something onthis somewhere but can't find it.  Is there any way attaching a small fingerboard to a pull-up bar for temporary use when away ?  Any solution suitable for a DIY dope would be a good solution.  Thanks

Theres some ideas in this thread.  You'd need to attach the finger board to some plywood backing sort of thing, but it should give you some ideas.

Dead Easy.  The holes meant for screws - put them plastic closure things through them (the police have black ones for cuffing people quickly), and close them around the bar.  They are extremely strong - we used them on hockings.  You can buy them in B+Q in white.  Pretty good for body tension, as if you move weakly, the board moves with you.
