johneys indirect rear entry-baldstones

Does anyone have a clear idea where this starts/goes. The guide suggests that it steps off from the right, or from the ground-follwing the rounded break to the arete [finish of rays roof]??

Cheers

Gain the break from the right and traverse it, simple as that. Ray's Roof also finishes by grovelling off left at the break. The line in the Rockfax Western grit guide (or at least the old edition) is totally wrong.
On a related note I was looking at the topo lines on Black Rocks in the Rockfax Eastern Grit guide. Amazingly how many lines are in the wrong place and not just by a bit, I mean way off target, all on harder routes (Velvet Silence etc on the block, Caught Smiling, Discombobulator, The Devil is in the Detail, A Day at the Proms...),. Very sloppy indeed!

The Devil is in the Detail

You're surprised they got this one wrong?
