Are there any guides available to the bouldering in these areas? Any help/problem recommendations on these would be appreciated. Cheers

I seem to remember someone producing a guide to bouldering around Huddersfield, which included at least some of those. I'd have no idea how you'd get hold of a copy though.

Eight small crags in the area have also been described recently, and in more detail, in a locally-produced booklet, the Climbing and Bouldering Guide to Huddersfield, by Paul Perkins and James Barker (1998). This has been revised and updated by Paul (2002).

I've got a copy of it, but mine's yellow (2002 edition).

I've climbed at most of the crags you mention - they're okay, and worth a look if you live locally, but I wouldn't go travelling long distances.

That said, Access Denied at West Nab is superb.

Cheers from me too.  I'll get the guide and try it out next time I have a spare morning whilst visiting my Hudds based friends.  It'll be a welcome change from going to Woodhouse Scar, looking up at Piton Crack, looking down at the pointy boulder beneath, and then wandering away to do something polished, fingery and safe on the Clingen Face!
